London recently witnessed a vibrant celebration of Mangalorean heritage as the South Kanara Association (SKA) London hosted its traditional Monthi Fest. Held at Alperton Community School on Stanley Avenue, the event united families and community members, showcasing unwavering faith, devotion, and cultural spirit.
The festivities commenced with a family photo session, where members proudly donned traditional attire, setting a festive tone. Children then joyfully participated in the customary Fula Ushayche, offering fresh flowers to Mother Mary during a colourful procession.
