On July 9th, a massive job interview will be held at the MLA’s Janaseva Kendra in Karkala, with the aim of providing employment opportunities to the youth of the district, including Karkala and Hebri taluks. MLA V. Sunil Kumar announced that 20 companies from Mangaluru, Udupi, and Bengaluru will be participating in the event. The first 1000 applicants will be given priority, and it is expected that around 300-400 individuals will secure jobs. The interview is specifically targeted at those who have completed their education in fields such as SSLC, PUC, degree, ITI, and polytechnic. Interested candidates can apply online and then attend the direct interview on July 9th, bringing necessary documents. Additionally, free accommodation will be provided to female candidates selected by MNC companies in Bengaluru. In the past, similar job fairs have been organized, with over 500 individuals securing employment. The Vikas Seva Institute has been involved in various social services for the past six years and has now organized this job interview to provide employment opportunities to rural youth. The institute has also established KJIT, polytechnic, ITI, and nursing colleges in Karkala, providing employment opportunities to students. Furthermore, the Vikas office will be providing free online coaching for 25 days, from July 5th to 30th, in collaboration with Archivers Trust, to help youth prepare for government job exams.
