On Sunday morning in Shanadi Koraga Colony, Kundapura taluk, 34‑year‑old Netravathi ended her own life by hanging after fatally stabbing her 14‑year‑old daughter, Suprathi, who was born with severe disabilities.
Suprathi could not walk, sit or speak and spent her days confined to a bed.
