The Baindur police station has lodged three distinct fraud complaints, alleging that a group of individuals swindled MCC Bank Ltd. Yadrta branch of approximately Rs 98.99 lakh by presenting fabricated documents to secure automobile and mortgage loans.

In the first case, Samiran Shek, a resident of Juhamanjil, Shirur, appeared at the bank on July 11, 2026, together with his alleged guarantor Asna Shek. They applied for a loan to purchase a new Toyota Innova Crysta, citing a quotation from Nandi Toyota Cars Private Limited dated June 29. The bank disbursed Rs 27.50 lakh. The applicants then submitted a vehicle registration number KA-20-ZZ-9876 along with forged RC, purchase invoice, insurance policy and bank‑extract documents, and even paid two months of instalments before the fraud was uncovered.

The second complaint involves Muhammad Hussain Azumuddin of Kharkeri, Gangolli, who listed Sanabi of Tekkatte Janata Colony as guarantor. On September 22, 2026, he sought a loan for a Toyota Fortune, presenting a September 21 quotation from Nandi Toyota Cars. The bank approved Rs 33.49 lakh on September 28. He later provided an insurance policy for a vehicle bearing registration KA-04-MH-4174, but verification with the RTO revealed the registration number to be fictitious.

The third case names Muhammad Saleem of Hosangadi, Siddapur village, who named Al Shakira of Hennabeilu as guarantor. He visited the branch on July 15, 2026, requesting financing for a Toyota Innova Crysta with a July 14 quotation, receiving Rs 26 lakh. He offered registration KA-20-AA-8888 and submitted counterfeit RC, invoice, insurance and bank‑extract papers, also paying two instalments. Additionally, Saleem mortgaged a 45‑cent plot in Hosangadi for a separate Rs 12 lakh loan, again using forged documentation.

Collectively, the three schemes amount to Rs 98.99 lakh obtained through falsified paperwork. All three FIRs have been recorded at Baindur police station following a directive from Sandeep Quadrus, Chief Manager and Recovery Officer of MCC Bank.
