On June 25, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan launched the Marina One project at Adyar Garden in Mangaluru, as part of Rohan Corporation’s 32nd anniversary celebrations. The event, titled “An Evening with Shah Rukh Khan,” drew hundreds of guests, including business leaders, customers, and fans. The evening began with a musical performance, featuring the Boyzone team and Indian Idol Season 10 winner Salman Ali. Salman Ali expressed his delight at the crowd’s energy, thanking Rohan Corporation for the opportunity to perform in Mangaluru. The event was hosted by Sahil Zahir and RJ Dona Sebastian, who kept the audience engaged throughout. Dr Rohan Monteiro, Chairman and Managing Director of Rohan Corporation, welcomed the gathering, expressing pride in hosting the event in his hometown. He also expressed gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan for visiting Mangaluru, fulfilling a promise made when he became the company’s brand ambassador. Director Dion Monteiro thanked the people of Mangaluru for their trust and support over the past 32 years. The highlight of the evening was the launch of the Marina One project, which Shah Rukh Khan unveiled amid cheers and applause. The Bollywood icon shared his personal connection to Mangaluru, having spent his early years in the city, and praised the people, culture, and hospitality of the region. A question-and-answer session followed, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Dr Rohan Monteiro, and Dion Monteiro, offering insights into leadership, success, and entrepreneurship.
