On June 25, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan launched the prestigious Marina One project at Adyar Garden in Mangaluru, as part of Rohan Corporation’s 32nd anniversary celebrations. The event, titled “An Evening with Shah Rukh Khan,” brought together hundreds of guests, business leaders, customers, and fans for an evening of entertainment and celebration. The programme began with a musical evening, featuring a spectacular dance performance by the Boyzone team and a soulful voice performance by Indian Idol Season 10 winner Salman Ali. Dr Rohan Monteiro, Chairman and Managing Director of Rohan Corporation, welcomed the gathering and expressed his pride in hosting the event in his hometown. Director Dion Monteiro also addressed the gathering, thanking the people of Mangaluru for their trust and support over the past 32 years. The highlight of the evening was the official launch of the Marina One Project, which was unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan amid loud cheers and applause. Shah Rukh Khan shared his personal connection with Mangaluru, having spent the first two years of his life in the city, and expressed his delight at returning to the city. A lively question-and-answer session followed, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Dr Rohan Monteiro, and Dion Monteiro, offering insights into leadership, success, entrepreneurship, and the actor’s personal journey.
