On May 22, 2026, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, under the patronage of the Indian Cultural Centre and the Embassy of India, Doha, organized a large-scale blood donation camp at the Qatar National Blood Donation Center. The event, which adopted the theme "Everyone Could Be a Hero," was attended by prominent figures, including Mr. Eish Singhal, First Secretary at the Embassy of India, Doha, and Ms. Sadika Al Mahmoudi, Medical Manager & Head of Donor Recruitment at Hamad Medical Corporation. The program began with a welcome address by KSQ General Secretary, Mr. Sujith Kumar, and featured speeches by the Chief Guests, who emphasized the importance of regular blood donation and community participation. KSQ President, Mr. Subramanya Hebbagelu, reaffirmed the organization's commitment to humanitarian service, while Ms. Al Mahmoudi expressed gratitude to the Indian expatriate community for their support. The event also included a recognition ceremony for veteran blood donors, including Dr. Sanjay Kudari, Mr. Shreedhar Nayak, and Mr. Mohammad Sohail, who have each donated blood more than 25 times. The camp received an overwhelming response from the Indian expatriate community, with many donors contributing to bolster HMC's blood reserves. During the event, KSQ also unveiled the promotional poster for "Sambhrama 2026," a grand musical evening featuring singer Rajesh Krishnan, scheduled for June 12, 2026.
