Mangaluru, 28 March – The Skoda showroom in Chilimbi celebrated a series of achievements this month, reporting a sharp rise in interest for the newly launched Kylaq while maintaining steady deliveries of its Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq models.

Established 13 years ago, the Chilimbi outlet has doubled its annual sales, moving from 250 units in its early days to more than 500 vehicles now. In the last three months alone, the Kylaq attracted over 1,450 enquiries, converting into 186 bookings and 48 deliveries to date.

Monthly, the showroom hands over roughly 20 Kushaq SUVs, and cumulative deliveries have reached 1,300 Slavia sedans and 60 Kodiaq SUVs. A refreshed Kodiaq variant is slated for launch in June 2025.

Skoda continues to emphasize safety, with every model – even base trims – earning a 5‑star NCAP rating. The Kylaq starts at Rs 9.80 lac, while warranty packages include a five‑year cover for the Kushaq, three years for the Slavia and four years for the Kodiaq.

Behind the numbers, a team of 18 staff members, led by sales head Kiran Kumar Suvarna, drives the showroom’s performance. Their efforts are complemented by a 30‑person service centre in Urwa, praised for prompt and reliable after‑sales support.

Recent highlights feature the first seven‑seater Kodiaq delivered with a grand welcome, the arrival of the all‑new Octavia RS, and the upcoming Grand Unregistered Car Sale Festival at Tafe Access on 23 August. The latest Kushaq urban SUV has also entered the Mangaluru market, expanding Skoda’s footprint in the region.

With a growing focus on electric mobility and advanced technology, Skoda aims to meet the evolving preferences of Indian consumers, reinforcing its reputation for European engineering blended with local relevance.
