Sidhu Moosewala murder case; Red Corner notice issued against Goldie Brar
New Delhi, June 10 (UNI) Reddy Corner notice issued against Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar, who is responsible for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. Punjab Police said that Red Corner had sought notice against Goldie Brar 10 days before the murder of Moosewala in two separate cases filed in Faridkot. Interpol communications agency CBI said in a statement that Punjab police had sought a Red Corner notice only on May 30, a day after the assassination of Sidhu Moosewala.
The cases against Goldie Brar were filed in November 2020 and February 2021, which included charges of murder, attempted murder, and weapons offenses.
On May 29, 28-year-old singer-politician Sidhu Moos Wala was shot dead by unknown attackers in Mansa district of Punjab.
Born in Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, 28-year-old Goldie Brar traveled to Canada on a student visa in 2017. Lawrence Bishnoi, known as the mastermind of the murder, is an active member of the gang.
Goldie Brar Moose Wala claimed in a Facebook post that Moosewala was assassinated in retaliation for the murder of young Akali leader Vicki Mudukhera last year.
