On Sunday, the Classic Trophy 2026 football league concluded at the Nandikall K.S. Gowda Stadium in Sulya, with CFC Karimbil emerging as champions after defeating Viking FC Murshid in the final match.
The tournament, organised by the Classic Arts & Sports Club Murshid, featured nine players across eight teams in a league‑style format. In the decisive game, CFC Karimbil secured the title while Viking FC Murshid received the runner‑up award for its performance throughout the competition.
The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Sulya legislative member Bhagirathee Murulya, and the event was chaired by Classic Sports Club president Jamal Padpinangadi.
