Puttur witnessed the election of Abdul Karim as the new president of the SKSSF Pammale Unit during its recent general body meeting, which also set the leadership line‑up for the 2026‑28 term.

The gathering opened under the chairmanship of Karim himself, with Mohammed Musliyar Mundole delivering the inaugural address. Distinguished guests included Padumale Jamaat President Haji Mohammed Badagannoor and Jamaat Secretary Alikunhi, both of whom conveyed their congratulations to the newly elected office‑bearers.

Following a proposal presented by Mohammed Haji K.H., Shakir Faizi offered a warm welcome to the assembly while Hakeem Faizi later expressed gratitude on behalf of the members. The election results saw Abdul Karim taking charge as President. Vice‑presidential duties were assigned to Abid Kukkaje, Haris Haji Kukkaje and Aboobakkar Janapriya.

Shakir Faizi was appointed General Secretary, with Hashim Mainadanadka as Working Secretary. The trio of Joint Secretaries—Oscar Padpu, Rafeeq MJM and Zubair Pallatharu—joined Nasir Kavunja, who will manage the Treasury.

Executive members for the term include Naushad Kavunja, Hakeem Faizi, Haris Musliyar, Ibrahim Kavunja and Suhail Kavunja. The council also named Cluster Councilors: Haris Haji, Naushad Kavunja, Ibrahim Badagannoor, Abid Kukkaje, Abdulla Badagannoor, Alikunhi Dembale and Hameed Mainadanadka.

Specific responsibilities were allocated to ensure smooth operation of the unit. Nasir Kavunja will oversee Trend activities, Hakeem Faizi will handle Ibad matters, and Naushad Kavunja will manage Vikaya initiatives. Oscar Padpu assumes charge of Sargalaya, Haris Haji Kukkaje will look after Talaba, while Haris Musliyar directs the Media Wing. Hashim Mainadanadka is tasked with the Islamic Family Council, and Suhail will supervise the Campus Wing.

With the leadership team now in place, the SKSSF Pammale Unit looks forward to implementing its programmes and serving the coastal Karnataka community throughout the 2026‑28 period.
