Mangaluru witnessed the graduation and farewell ceremony for the 2026 Nursery Teachers Training Course (NTTC) students from Bliss London Teachers Academy on November 3. Held at Ocean Global School in Jeppinamogaru, the event, dubbed 'EDUVISTA 2026 – A Celebration of Dreams & Achievements,' featured Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Najma Farooqui of the Mangaluru City Police Traffic Division, who underscored the importance of integrating continuous learning with adherence to legal principles.
In her inaugural address, ACP Farooqui reminded the graduating batch that education extends beyond degrees, emphasizing that a commitment to societal laws and values is an inherent responsibility for all citizens. She articulated that the pursuit of knowledge is an unending journey, intertwined with the development of strong ethical foundations.
Journalist Ashraf Alikunhi, a chief guest, remarked that the certificates presented signify not merely an accomplishment, but a profound commitment to society. He stressed that a teacher's failure to adequately mould a child's mind carries the risk of weakening the very bedrock of future society, reiterating that true learning never ceases. Sayeeduddin, Administrator of Ocean Global School and another chief guest, reinforced this sentiment, characterizing teachers as the architects of tomorrow's innovators. He described the teaching profession as a noble sacrifice and a critical duty in community building.
A significant segment of the program celebrated three women achievers for their distinct contributions. Aisha Banu from Suraksha Seva Ashram Trust, Karkala, received recognition for her social service. Teacher Mariam Ashraf was honoured for her work in education, while Fatima Sajjila Baithadka earned accolades for her artistic feat of meticulously creating the entire 30 Juz of the Holy Quran through calligraphy by hand.
Educationist Haji Sheikh Bawa Mangaluru presided over the proceedings. P.A. Umarul Farooq Raza Amjadi, Director of Bliss London Teachers Academy, delivered the keynote address. The ceremony commenced with a welcome by Giana, and Nishitha Shetty along with Aisha Nusaiba skillfully compered the event. Sambrina, Thapseera Rehnaz, Afeeja, and Haseena shared their reflections, culminating in a vote of thanks delivered by Thaiba.
