On the heels of a successful tenure, United Loretto Friends (ULF) has formally introduced its new executive leadership team, set to steer the organization from 2026 to 2028. This development marks a significant transition in leadership, underscoring the organization’s unwavering commitment to its founding principles of unity and service. At the helm of the new team is President Mr. Donald Noronha from Allipade, supported by Secretary Mrs. Jevita Rodrigues from Surathkal, Joint Secretary Mrs. Gleveena Aranha from Attur, and Treasurer Mr. Roy D’Souza from Loretto.
The new lineup also includes Cultural Secretary Mrs. Sylvia Noronha from Loretto, Sports Secretary Mr. Vinod Pinto from Loretto, and Media Coordinator Mrs. Preethi D’Souza from Cordel. Overseas Coordinators Mrs. Gretta Fernandes from Anjelore and Mr. Sachin Noronha from Loretto complete the team. As these new office bearers take the reins, ULF extends its heartfelt gratitude to outgoing President Mr. Rupesh Pinto and the entire outgoing committee for their dedicated service and leadership over the past two years.
Formed in November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates, ULF operates under the motto of “Unity and Service.” The organization has been at the forefront of community initiatives, including cultural events like the “Konkan Udkana” gathering, which promotes Konkani traditions. ULF has also demonstrated a strong commitment to social responsibility through support for education, medical assistance, housing initiatives, and employment opportunities.
As the new leadership team assumes its role, ULF looks forward to continued growth and achievement, strengthened community bonds, and impactful service. With its foundational motto guiding its actions, ULF remains dedicated to serving society with unwavering dedication and anticipates the continued support of its members and well-wishers in this new chapter.
