On the premises of the Vikasa office auditorium in Karkala, MLA and former minister V. Sunil Kumar inaugurated the Vikas Udyog Setu program by lighting a lamp. This initiative, under the aegis of Karkala Vikasa Seva Samsthe, aims to bridge the gap between students and companies for job opportunities. The program will be a monthly affair, with the goal of providing employment to individuals, which in turn benefits their entire family. V. Sunil Kumar emphasized the importance of self-confidence and perseverance for students during job interviews. He expressed his wish for the program to contribute to the realization of a Swarna Karkala and Swachh Karkala. The event was attended by several notable figures, including Karkala BJP senior leader Bola Prabhakar Kamath, entrepreneur Ganesh Kamath, and BJP chief Maniraj Shetty. Other dignitaries present included Rajeshwari Educational Institution President Deviprasad Shetty, BJP Karkala Mandal President Naveen Naik, and District BJP Vice President Mahaveer Hegde. Representatives from Spectrum Company and Foxconn Company, Divakar and Rajeshwari respectively, also participated in the launch. The program also plans to conduct Vikasa Pariksha Setu initiatives to support students preparing for competitive exams.
