A motorcyclist identified as Sia reported that a car chased her and struck her Aprilia RS 457 on Golf Course Road, Gurugram, on Sunday morning. The incident, captured on her bike’s action camera, has prompted her to demand police intervention.
Sia, who runs the Instagram handle rebelwheels_sia_, said the vehicle began tailing her group from the start of their ride. She claimed the occupants behaved aggressively, tried to close the gap and even asked her to stop, despite her repeated requests to keep a safe distance.
According to her account, the driver attempted to cut across her lane, causing a direct impact that knocked Sia off her bike and dragged the motorcycle several metres. A fellow rider positioned his bike to block the car, yet the vehicle continued alongside Sia before the collision. After the crash, the car accelerated away from the scene.
Sia’s friend pursued the fleeing vehicle and confronted the driver at a traffic signal. She says the driver denied responsibility and drove off again. In a post on social media, Sia shared the car’s registration number and the name of the registered owner, urging Gurugram police to file a case against the driver.
The video quickly spread online, drawing support from netizens who called for a FIR and highlighted the broader issue of reckless driving on Gurugram’s busy roads. Users tagged the Delhi, Gurugram and Haryana police forces, demanding a thorough investigation and stricter enforcement of traffic rules.
