On a recent day, the Training and Placement department of Moodlakatte Nursing College (MCN) in Kundapur organized a campus placement drive for the 2025-26 batch. The event was conducted in collaboration with Yashoda Hospitals, a prominent multi-specialty healthcare institution in India, based in Hyderabad’s Hitech City. The program commenced with a warm welcome to the recruitment team by the college administration, faculty, and students. The presence of esteemed nursing leaders made the program more informative and inspiring. The recruitment team, comprising Swati Meda, General Manager – Nursing, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitech City, Hyderabad, and Pratyusha Choudhary, Head – Nursing Education and Training and Nursing Recruitment, Yashoda Hospitals, introduced students to Yashoda Hospitals, highlighting its advanced healthcare services, nursing excellence, career development opportunities, professional development programs, and employee benefits. They also explained the recruitment process, eligibility criteria, training opportunities, and expectations from newly recruited nurses. Students actively participated in the interaction, asking questions related to career progression, work environment, special opportunities, and further education. The recruiters addressed all queries and encouraged students to pursue excellence in nursing practice. The campus placement drive provided final-year nursing students with an excellent opportunity to explore job opportunities in a prestigious healthcare institution, strengthening the partnership between Moodlakatte College of Nursing and Yashoda Hospitals, and opening new avenues for future jobs. Notably, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between IMJ Institutions in Hitech City, Hyderabad, and Yashoda Hospitals to strengthen academic and professional collaboration, facilitate student placements, provide training opportunities, promote knowledge exchange, and enhance career development expectations for nursing students. The program concluded with expressions of gratitude to the Yashoda Hospitals recruitment team for their valuable time, guidance, and support. The college appreciated their commitment to hiring skilled nursing professionals and wished students success in their job journey.
