Two people including one an Omani national, arrested in Mangaluru ganja and MDMA Seized

Mangaluru, Jun 14: 51 grams of ganja and 2 grams of MDMA seized from two persons. The arrested are identified as Ahammed Mohammed Musafa Al Mahamani (34) from Oman and Ram (22) from Himachal Pradesh and a case under NDPS Act was charged against the arrested persons.

According to police commissioner N Shashi Kumar the Omani national Ahammed had came to Goa on a tourist visa, and was undergoing physiotherapy treatment at a private facility in Mangaluru . Ahammed was discovered with Ram at the Golden Plaza hotel.

“Because Ahammed’s passport has expired, he will be charged under the Passport Act. We’re looking into how the two got their hands on ganja and MDMA,” Commissioner Said
