Hira Women's College in Ullal organised the inter‑college competition Technisis‑2026, bringing together PU students from across the region during 2026. The event aimed to showcase emerging technologies and foster healthy rivalry among participants.
Assistant Professor Dr. Priyadarshini P., from St. Aloysius College, formally opened the programme by unveiling a commemorative plaque. Her brief address highlighted the importance of hands‑on exposure to modern tools for young learners.
The schedule featured a live demonstration of an Internet of Things prototype and an interactive session on artificial‑intelligence tools, sparking curiosity among the attendees. Following the showcases, several contests were conducted, testing participants' skills in coding, robotics and digital design.
Principal Ayisha Asmin addressed the gathering, emphasizing that such initiatives nurture technical competence and a love for continuous learning among female students. A.H. Mahmood, President of Shanti Educational Trust, presided over the ceremony, underscoring the trust's commitment to educational empowerment.
In the closing segment, Dr. Priyadarshini P. and Shanti Educational Trust Vice‑President K.M. Ashraf congratulated the winners, while Trust Secretary Abdul Karim, host Rahmatulla, Administrative Officer Zahir Hussain, Principal Ayisha Afrin, and Programme Host Ramya P.R. were present on the dais. Tasmiya and Fatima Nishan narrated the event flow, Alimath Souda and Mariamm recited Qur'anic verses, and Fatima Sanni welcomed the audience. Lecturer Brindana offered concluding remarks, and Hana Fatima assisted with the final arrangements.
