In the proposal submitted by Jarakiholi, the state’s main road, Shiradi Ghat Tunnel, Honnavar-Kumuta Flyover, Pinya-Hosur Tunnel in Bangalore and a flyover (model of Dr. Shivakumar Swamiji Flyover on Tumkur Road) to connect Bangalore to Hebbal and a bypass road to Kalaburagi Nagar are also proposed. Similarly Belgaum City-Pune-Bangalore road should be upgraded. A ring road should be constructed for the cities of Raichur, Gadag and Shimoga. A request has also been made to construct a flyover at Manipal Hospital Junction in Mysore city. He has submitted a request that if all these requests are granted, the problem of traffic congestion in major cities of the state will be solved.
