On a auspicious day, the Margadeepa Cultural Committee began preparations for its grand Saarvajanika Ganeshotsava 2026 in the UAE, with a ceremonial release of the invitation brochure and launch of its promotional campaign at Pune Residency, Dubai. Lord Sri Ganesha, revered as the remover of obstacles and harbinger of wisdom, prosperity, and auspicious beginnings, is at the heart of this celebration. The committee, which has successfully conducted this event for the past 12 years, is gearing up for the grand celebration on 20 September 2026 at the Indian Association Hall, Ajman. The programme was attended by esteemed guests, including Mr. Vishwanath Shetty, President of Sharjah Karnataka Sangha, Mr. Shodhan Prasad, Head of Sandhya Creations, and Mr. Lakshmeesh Chetan, Vice President of Ramakshatriya Sangha UAE. They appreciated the committee’s efforts in preserving Indian culture and traditions. Mr. Sugandharaj Bekal and Mr. Ajith Korakodu were appointed as Chief Conveners, while Mr. Satish Hangaluru will oversee cultural programmes and Mrs. Smita Ganesh Rao will head the Women’s Wing. The ceremony was attended by committee members, volunteers, devotees, and well-wishers, including Mr. Mahesh Chandragiri, President of the Margadeepa Cultural Committee. The committee invites devotees, families, and community members to participate in this sacred celebration, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for peace, happiness, good health, and prosperity.
