Mangaluru: Ship arrives at NMPT with medical oxygen Kuwait

Mangalore, May 25: India has received 147.430 tonnes of liquid oxygen from Kuwait’s Indian Community Support Group (ICSG). A total of 2,528 tonnes of ammunition arrived at NMPT this morning. The Indian Navy ship Shardul arrived at NMPT from ICSG. This container was given to the Indian Red Cross Society and received by the District Unit of the Red Cross Soceity

It has 11 tankers, 2 semi-trailer and 1200 oxygen cylinders with Liquid Oxygen. District Unit President Shantaram Shatti, Honorary Secretary Prabhakar Sharma, State Management Committee Member Yatish Baikampadi The goods were received at NMPT.

ADGP Pratap Reddy, District Collector Dr. Rajendra, Police Commissioner Shashikumar, DCP Hariram Shankar, ACP. Mahesh Kumar and Coast Guard Commander Venkatesh were also present.
