On August 6, 2026, the makers of the Insidious franchise unveiled the trailer for its latest installment, Insidious: Out of the Further, in Mumbai. The trailer promises a darker and more terrifying chapter in the saga, with Amelia Eve starring as Gemma, a young mother who can travel into The Further. This eerie purgatorial realm is home to lost souls, and Gemma’s ability to bring its inhabitants back into the real world sets the stage for a haunting narrative. As the demons become aware of her power, they start crossing over, turning the world into their hunting ground. Insidious: Out of the Further is a sequel to Insidious: The Red Door, released in 2023, and is the sixth installment in the franchise. The film also stars Brandon Perea, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Lin Shaye, reprising her role from previous films. The Insidious franchise, which began in 2010, has seen various directors at its helm, including Wan, Whannell, Adam Robitel, and Patrick Wilson.
