On Saturday, July 18, a 25-year-old software engineer, Tejaswini, was found dead in Hyderabad’s Peerzadiguda. Tejaswini, daughter of Vakkulagaddi Eshwar Rao and Aruna, originally from Devapalli village in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district, had been struggling with emotional distress due to her parents’ separation. According to Medipally police, she died around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. Tejaswini had previously worked as a software professional in Bengaluru but resigned about six months ago. She was living with her mother in a rented accommodation in Shankarnagar Colony, Peerzadiguda, while her father resided in Visakhapatnam. On Friday evening, Tejaswini and her mother had been searching for a new house in Miyapur, planning to relocate from Peerzadiguda. The police stated that they were staying at an Airbnb apartment in Hyderabad. When Tejaswini’s mother was unable to locate her, she approached the police to file a missing person complaint. The police later identified Tejaswini and informed her family. A case of suspicious death has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and further investigation is underway. Tejaswini’s mother, Aruna, who is also under emotional stress, identified her daughter’s body at Osmania General Hospital.
