Griha Jyoti: Bescom warning about fake links: Use this link only
The registration process to become successful of Griha Jyoti across the state. Bescom has warned the beneficiaries about the fake links. After experiencing many problems initially, the registration process is now easy and there is a good response across the state. Another problem started after this.
Cyber fraudsters have created fake links of Griha Jyoti Yojana application registration. These links are spread on social media and if you accidentally click on these links, there is a risk of stealing your personal details and bank account. The Minister has also recently given a statement that the links to Griha Jyoti Yojana have been hacked and this has been confirmed.
Not only Griha Jyoti, but also while applying for Griha Lakshmi, Yuva Nidhi schemes, one has to be careful. At present, the application registration process is going on only for Griha Jyoti which gets free electricity. The application process for Grilakshmi, which provides 2000 rupees per month, and 3000 thousand rupees for unemployed graduates, is yet to be accepted. Do not click on any link seen on WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, Message in any media.

Bescom appeal to customers
BESCOM has also appealed to the customers to be careful after getting information about fake links circulating. Requested to register on official website only. I have requested those who know how to register, neighbors and those who don’t know to help me to register.
https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in/ You have to register for Griha Jyoti Yojana only on this website. As many people are doing this registration, sometimes the server gets busy. So, if you go to any other website, your Aadhaar, Customer ID details will become the hands of cyber thieves.
Be careful about Grilakshmi, Yuva Nidhi registration
In Griha Jyoti Yojana you have to provide Aadhaar, Mobile Number, Customer ID details only. But while applying for Griha Lakshmi Yojana and Yuva Nidhi Yojana, you need to provide many important information including your bank account, Aadhaar number.
Griha Lakshmi and Yuva Nidhi Yojana are not accepting applications yet. Be fooled by the false information coming from many places including WhatsApp, click on fake links, if you enter details, the risk of fraudsters stealing your bank account is high. Do not click on any such links till official order, government itself will issue instructions regarding registration.
