Mangalore, 20 September 2024 – The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Father Muller Medical College hosted the Prof J.N. Shetty Memorial Oration and Karavali Dermatology Society Clinical Meet on this date, bringing together faculty, postgraduates and leading specialists in a single day of scientific exchange.
Organised in partnership with the Prof J.N. Shetty Memorial Oration Trust and the Karavali Dermatology Society, the event unfolded in the Decennial Memorial Hall of the college. An invocation opened the programme, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by invited dignitaries.
Dr Sukumar D, President of the Prof J.N. Shetty Memorial Oration Trust, welcomed participants and outlined the Trust’s objectives. Rev. Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, presided over the inauguration, stressing the responsibility of dermatologists to promote skin health awareness.
