“There is an ideological struggle going on in India right now. While the Congress party has the ideology of ‘Bharat Jodo’ (uniting India), the BJP-RRS has the ideology of ‘Bharat Todo’ (dividing India). We are spreading love in the country and talking about Mohabbat. But, the BJP-RSS is talking about hatred and dividing the society,” said the Congress leader.

“When the Bharat Jodo Yatra was going on, we used to find people from Bihar wherever we went. When I asked the people who were coming to meet me where they were from, they told me Bihar. “I have traveled to Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab and Kashmir and I have seen people from Bihar everywhere,” he said. In 2024 general elections, all opposition parties are united to defeat BJP. You know you can’t fight hate with hate. It can only be defeated by love. Congress strives to unite the country and spread love. “That’s why we came to Bihar because the DNA of Congress is in Bihar,” he said.
