Asia Cup 2023 :The dates for the Asia Cup 2023 tournament have been fixed. Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has confirmed that the Asia Cup will start from August 31 and will be held till September 17. This time the tournament will be held in a hybrid format. That means 4 matches will be held in Pakistan, which has the right to host the Asia Cup, while the remaining 9 matches will be held in Sri Lanka.

Because the BCCI had already made it clear that the Indian team will not participate in the tournament held in Pakistan. Thus, the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to organize the tournament in a hybrid format.

This means that this is the first time that the Nepalese team has qualified for the Asia Cup tournament and has got the opportunity to play against two of the strongest countries in Asia in its very first tournament. The following are the 6 teams that will play in the Asia Cup this time.
