On August 31 in Udupi, the Karnataka Entrepreneurship Development Center (SEDAC) Udupi partnered with Bharatiya Vikasa Trust (BVT) Manipal to start a ten‑day entrepreneurship training programme at BVT Hall, Shivalli, Manipal.
BVT Managing Director Mohan Bhaskar Hegde opened the event, urging participants to discard shyness, advance with confidence, begin strongly and seek counsel before making decisions – three habits he believes drive success.
Chief guest Jagdish Eligar addressed the gathering, emphasizing that young aspirants and budding entrepreneurs must sharpen their business skills and tap into government schemes, financial support and market openings available today.
Joining the stage were Jagdish Pai, senior consultant of BVT, and Prithviraj, trainer from Seadoc. BVT programme officer Pratima offered a warm welcome, while programme manager Jeevan Vandisi and programme coordinator Raghavendra outlined the schedule and objectives.
The intensive training attracted twenty‑five participants, each expected to apply the insights gained toward launching or expanding their ventures.
