With the Bigg Boss 20 launch only a week away, the contestant roster is expanding. Variety India reports that Faissal Khan, the younger brother of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, will step into the house when the show begins on 6 September. The actor, who debuted in the 1994 romance Madhosh, has kept a low profile in recent years, but his entry promises personal intrigue given his turbulent relationship with his family.

Faissal has spoken publicly about feeling isolated, once alleging in a podcast that relatives confined him at home and labelled him mentally ill for over a year. Aamir Khan’s family quickly countered, issuing a statement that dismissed Faissal’s version and highlighted his mental‑health challenges. The letter bore the signatures of several family members.

In a recent interview with journalist Ujjawal Trivedi, Faissal expressed regret for 'going overboard' with his earlier comments and apologized for remarks made about Aamir. He said he hopes to rebuild ties and strengthen the bond moving forward.

The upcoming season will be hosted by Salman Khan, who returns for another year. Producers have been teasing the line‑up, and the inclusion of Faissal Khan could give viewers a glimpse of a side of the actor rarely seen on television. As the premiere date of 6 September approaches, anticipation continues to rise among fans across the coastal region.

Will Faissal Khan’s presence add a new dimension to the drama inside the Bigg Boss house? Share your thoughts in the comments.
