The examination, conducted in computer‑based mode from June 22 to June 30, covered 87 subjects. While results for most papers are now posted, candidates who sat for English, Commerce and Sociology will not see their scorecards because those three papers are scheduled for a re‑examination on September 9 and 10 after errors were identified in the original question sets.
Applicants can log in with their registered email and password to view, download and print the electronic scorecard. The NTA has emphasized that no physical marksheets will be issued; the digital document serves as the official proof for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor appointments and PhD admissions.
For the 84 subjects whose results are released, the final answer keys have been fixed after reviewing challenges to the provisional keys. Category‑wise cut‑off marks are also displayed on the website, helping candidates gauge eligibility for the various academic positions.
Those attempting to access the English, Commerce or Sociology results at present may encounter an “Invalid Application Number/Password” notice. The agency assures that the scorecards for these subjects will appear only after the re‑exam is evaluated.
The prompt publication of most results is expected to allow successful candidates to move forward with their research and teaching plans without further delay. The NTA has urged aspirants to rely solely on information posted on the official UGC‑NET portal and its verified social media handles for any updates regarding the pending re‑examination.
