On a sacred occasion, the Margadeepa Cultural Committee launched preparations for its grand Saarvajanika Ganeshotsava 2026 in the UAE, with a ceremonial release of the invitation brochure and promotional campaign at Pune Residency, Dubai. The committee, which has been conducting this celebration for the past 12 years, aims to bring devotees together to worship Lord Sri Ganesha. The event will be held on 20 September 2026 at the Indian Association Hall, Ajman. The programme was attended by esteemed guests, including Mr. Vishwanath Shetty, President of Sharjah Karnataka Sangha, Mr. Shodhan Prasad, Head of Sandhya Creations, and Mr. Lakshmeesh Chetan, Vice President of Ramakshatriya Sangha UAE. They appreciated the committee’s efforts in preserving Indian culture and traditions. Mr. Sugandharaj Bekal and Mr. Ajith Korakodu were appointed as Chief Conveners, while Mr. Satish Hangaluru will oversee cultural programmes and Mrs. Smita Ganesh Rao will head the Women’s Wing. The ceremony was attended by committee members, volunteers, devotees, and well-wishers, including Mr. Mahesh Chandragiri, President of the Margadeepa Cultural Committee. The committee invites devotees to participate in this celebration, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for peace, happiness, and prosperity.
