On January 1, Kumbol Thangal addressed the Zilla Jamaat Assembly program at Mulur Al Ihsan School Hall in Udupi, emphasizing the importance of creating awareness about the Special Intensive Voter List Revision (SIR) process. As a representative of the Zilla Samyukta Jamaat Committee, he stressed that everyone should be informed about SIR in their respective Jamaats, Mohallas, and local committees. Thangal appealed to the public to submit necessary documents on time to ensure their names remain on the voter list. He also highlighted the need to strengthen the system for resolving issues like talaq, fusc, and other problems within the Jamaats, reducing the need for court and police station visits. The program, presided over by District United Jamaat President Haji P. Abubakar, was inaugurated by Udupi District Assistant Qazi Bahu Abdurrahman Madani Muluru. Senior police officer Abdurazak, U.K. Mustafa Saadi, and K.A. Abdurrahman Razvi Al Furkhani were among the key speakers. Other participants included District Ulama Committee President Ismail Madani Mavinakatte, Sulaiman Saadi Aflali Karkala, and SMA District President Hussain Monu. The event was attended by numerous prominent figures, including SJM District President Abdurrazakh Qasimi and Haji P.H. Usman.
