On July 18 and 19, the city of Mangaluru will host Bhavasangama, a district-level devotional and lyrical song competition, organized by Kalāmṛta Mangaluru and Namma Kudla in collaboration with Sharada Vidyalaya. Ganesh Somayaji, representing Kalāmṛta, announced this at a press conference held at the Press Club on Monday. The competition aims to nurture the musical talent of school and college students, as well as the general public, in D.K. district. By providing a platform for participants to showcase their skills, the event seeks to foster personality development, self-confidence, courage, and patriotism. The first phase of the competition will be held on the second floor of Navaratna Palace in Hampankatta. All participants will receive a certificate of appreciation and a medal, while winners will be awarded gold and silver medals and certificates. The registration process, which requires school ID cards for students and Aadhaar cards for others, is currently underway via Google Form and will close on July 15.
