On International Anti-Narcotics Day, Karkala's Creative Pre-Graduate College joined forces with the Sri Kshetra Dharamsthal Village Development Yojana B.C. Trust, Akhil Karnataka Jana Jaguri Vudisha, Karkala Taluk, and Karkala Nagar Police Station to organize an Anti-Drug Day and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan program. Deputy Inspector of Police Sivakumar S.R. inaugurated the event, emphasizing that drug abuse destroys lives and that youth should be the country's strength, not a threat. He urged the public to report such activities to the police, warning of strict legal action against offenders. Principal Vidwan Ganapathy Bhatt stressed that every citizen has a duty to live a vice-free life, and that life is precious. The program was attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Gananath Shetty B., DySP Vijaya Kumar, and others. Lecturer Laxmikant conducted the program, and Geetha extended her gratitude to all participants. An online public awareness program was also conducted by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Village Development Yojana to eradicate the evils of drug abuse.
