Udupi: 113 Covid-19 Cases Reported Today

Udupi July 10 : Over 100 cases of Covid positive have been detected in the last few days. This results in an increase in the number of cases of covid after it was once reduced. Covidi infection cases has been confirmed in 113 cases in the district today.

Of these, 50 were found in Udupi, 30 in Kundapur and 33 in Karkala. At present there are 902 Covid active cases in the district. A 77-year-old woman from Kundapur died  today. On 9th of July 96 people were discharged from the hospital and 42,791 have been cured since the start of the Covid 2nd wave. A total of 66,212 cases of covid positive cases were detected in the district so far.

The Covid test was conducted to 3,41,172 people in the district from the second wave started till on July 9, out of which 43,904 were infected. A total of 211 people have been died in the district so far. There are 9 Black Fungus cases active in the district. The black fungal infection has been found  5 in Udupi, and 6 in Kundapur and 27 from outside districts. Two people in the district are died from black fungus. A total of 38 cases of black fungus have been detected in the district.
