Civil society shocked: ‘BJP man’ urinates on tribal youth: Video goes viral
Bhopal: A brutal incident in which a supporter of a BJP MLA urinated on the face of a tribal youth took place in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident that took place in the state of Madhya Pradesh is an inhumane incident that civil society should be ashamed of and its video has gone viral.
A case was registered against the accused under sections 294 and 504 IPC and SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in Sidhi district on Tuesday after the video went viral. .
Commenting on the incident, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, ‘Strong action will be taken against the culprit’. Answering the question whether the accused belonged to BJP, he said, ‘Criminals have no caste, religion and party. “A criminal is only a criminal and the guilty will not be left alone for any reason,” he said.
In the video, a laborer, said to be from a tribal community, is sitting on the roadside while BJP supporter/activist Pravesh Shukla is smoking and urinating on the man’s face.
The victim said the police should take action against the person who shared the “fake” video on social media. According to the report, the villagers who first shared the video on social media now claim that they are receiving threatening calls.
Defending the accused, Pravesh Shukla’s uncle filed a police complaint on July 1 alleging that his nephew had gone missing on June 29 and “the family is saying that they fear some severe action due to the fake video made by some people.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that both accused Pravesh Shukla and victim Dashmat Rawat hailed from Kubri village under Bahri police jurisdiction. A case has been registered under two IPC sections and provisions of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) and police have laid a trap to nab the accused.
