Yoga is my anchor in chaos, says actress Apoorva Arora on International Yoga Day
Mangaluru: For actress Apoorva Arora, yoga has moved far beyond a workout routine. On International Yoga Day, she described the ancient practice as her daily compass for emotional balance and self-discovery. Arora, who has maintained a consistent yoga regimen for the past six years, shared her reflections with BollywoodLife.
“Yoga is no longer just a practice for me or a form of exercise. It has become a way of coming back to myself,” she said. The actress spoke about how life’s hectic pace often pulls her away from her center. “In those moments, yoga reminds me to slow down, reconnect, and find balance again,” she added. She applies yogic principles beyond the mat — in her breathing, thinking, and daily responses.
Arora’s journey with yoga began six years ago. She now considers it an essential part of her daily life, offering strength, peace, discipline, and overall well-being. The discipline helps her stay grounded amid the demands of show business.
On the work front, Arora was last seen in the film ‘Momacu’. Despite joining the project at the last minute, she felt an immediate sense of belonging with the cast and crew. She reported for shooting just hours after wrapping another film. “We met only a couple of hours before the shoot, and I instantly felt at ease with him. He was the perfect captain to have,” she told Times Now. The film was shot during extreme winter nights in Chandigarh, presenting its own set of challenges. But the strong bonds on set made even the toughest conditions bearable, she noted.
