224 new cases of Covid reported in Dakshina Kannada and 110 in Udupi; eight deaths reported in the twin districts on Thursday
Mangaluru Jul 15: 224 new Coronavirus cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada on Thursday, July 15, bringing the total to 96,215. Approximately 11,57,296 samples were tested, with 1061,081 of them being negative, according to the district health bulletin. The district has a positivity rate of 3.05%. At present, in the district, 1,960 cases are active. In total, 190 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday, bringing the number of recoveries to 92,908.Seven deaths were reported in the district on Thursday.
Udupi District
Udupi, Jul 15: A total of 7,25,834 samples have been tested so far, according to the district health bulletin.There were 110 new cases reported on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 67,999, of which 944 are active at the moment.There were 97 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 66,652.There have been 403 deaths in the district so far due to the Coronavirus.The first dose of vaccination has been given to 4,561,159 people, while the second dose has been given to 1,56,065.One death is reported in the district on Thursday.
