World famous Jog Falls open to tourists from Today

Shimoga: The world famous Jog Falls in the district, which has been closed for the past two months in the wake of the Covid Second Wave, will be open to tourists from Monday.(28.06.2021)

The monsoon rains that have been pouring in the uplands for the past one week have enhanced the beauty of Jog falls. The waterfall is open from 10 am to 5 pm. Visitors are required to wear a mask, maintain a social space, and use a sanitizer.

Due to the lockdown, local business and business were declining without tourists. Now tourists are allowed to visit and re-enter the economy.
