Barbados: All the members of the Indian team selected for the two-match Test series against the West Indies (ind vs wi) reached Barbados, West Indies on Monday. The BCCI had given a deadline of July 3 to reach Barbados for the players who had left at various stages and from different regions. So everyone has joined and started practicing in Barbados.

Players including Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Yassavi Jaiswal had reached the Caribbean island in different flights. Virat Kohli has joined the team straight from London. The Test series between India and West Indies will begin from July 12, before which the team will participate in a week-long camp including two warm-up matches.
The BCCI had instructed that the players should start training immediately after joining the support staff in Barbados. Similarly, the players have started practicing through the strength and conditioning coaches. First he played volleyball on the beach.
Virat Kohli has recently joined the Indian team and he has also started training. India will play a warm-up match against the local team on July 6. However, that match will not have first-class status. The team management requested Cricket West Indies for first-class matches. However, as there was no response from there, a practice match was organized as a mixed team. Some local players will join the Indian team for warm-up matches.
The West Indies team will hold their camp at Coolidge Cricket Ground’s High Performance Center in Antigua. He will travel to Dominica before the Test. Apart from Test specialists, some multi-format players playing in World Cup 2023 qualifiers will reach Dominica directly.
