Dubai. Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has moved up one place to sixth in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) women’s ODI rankings released on Tuesday, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur slipped to eighth. Mandhana has 704 rating points while Harmanpreet has 702 points. The Indian captain has slipped two places.

Left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gaikwad is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 of the bowlers’ list. Similarly, in the list of all-rounders, Deepti Sharma is the only Indian player in the top 10. Both these players, however, have slipped one rung each. Gaikwad is ninth while all-rounder Deepti is seventh.

Sri Lanka’s Chamari Atapattu was at the top of the ODI rankings for batsmen for only two weeks. Australia’s Beth Mooney again managed to reach the top. Mooney scored 81 not out and 30 in the first two ODIs against England.

He is followed by England’s Nat Sciver Brunt, who has moved up two places to the second spot with a career-best rating of 763. She managed to top the list of all-rounders. He also achieved his career best rating (402) in this category. (agency)
