Team India’s leading paceman Jasprit Bumrah is unfortunately absent from the crucial World Test Championship final against Australia. Dinesh Karthik revealed when Bumrah, who has been out of Team India since last September 2022 due to injury, will return to the team.

Dinesh Karthik is giving commentary in the World Test Championship final which is being held at the Oval Stadium in London. Karthik said about the comeback of injured Indian pacer Jaspreet Bumrah. Karthik informed that Bumrah is trying to make a comeback for the T20 series between India and Ireland.

In August, India are scheduled to tour Ireland for a three-match T20 series, which will begin in the third week of the month. Bumrah has been away from competitive cricket since September and is reportedly looking to test his performance in T20Is. This will also help in the upcoming ODI World Cup.

Although Bumrah was included in the ODI squad earlier this year, he was eventually dropped from the squad. After that, Bumrah traveled to New Zealand for back surgery. Now fully recovered, Bumrah is focused on his return to the sport.

Before the T20 series in Ireland, Team India is all set to engage in a comprehensive series against the West Indies from July to August. Team India, which is currently playing WTC, will not play any tournament for exactly 1 month after that. Then in the first week of July it will sail to the Caribbean.
