What did Moosevala’s father say about the election contest rumor?
Chandigarh, June 4 (IANS) Sidhu Moos Wala’s father Balcour Singh, who made it clear on Saturday that he will not contest any election, has told people not to listen to any rumors surrounding it.
A day after Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Waring endorsed the advice of economist Sardar Singh Jol on the sidelines of the Sangrur Lok Sabha, Baldur’s father Sidhu Moosewala’s father made it clear.
I am saddened to see so many of these conversations being circulated on social media. He thanked the people for sharing their grief with the family.
Singer Musevala was shot and killed by unknown men in Mansa on May 29.
On his Facebook page on Friday, renowned economist Jol wrote that the murder of Musa Wala was “very unfortunate and painful.” It is a cultural loss. However, the loss to parents is predictable and cannot be filled, he said.
Expressing condolences to Moose Wala’s parents, Joel said that it would be a little helpful consolation if Sidhu Moosewala’s father persuaded him to be elected unanimously from the Sangrur constituency.
Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Waring, who endorsed it, said that nothing can compensate for the loss of Sidhu Moosewala’s parents. Dr SS Jol has suggested that Balkour Singh Ji be fielded as a consensus candidate for the Sangrur by-election and he will be unanimously elected. I approve of it. Hope all other parties agree. Waring tweeted, “Let us put aside politics.”
The Sangrur Lok Sabha seat has been vacated after Bhagwant Man Dhuri contested from the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections.
Voting for the constituency will be held on June 23 and the counting will be held on June 26.
