Vinay Kumar Sorake to expose inaction of ruling party
Udupi: The monthly working committee meeting of the District Congress Committee was held at the Congress House. District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, who presided over the meeting, said that the upcoming District Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections could be difficult if the Booth Committee and Rural Committees were not fully formed. So everyone should be concerned about this.
It was proposed by the City Council that the District Congress House be named the Oscar Fernandez House, the nomination of Oscar Fernandes in Congress House, and that any street or circle be named the Oscar Fernandez Road or the Oscar Fernandes Circle. He also said that the portrait of Oscar Fernandez would be put in place in all rural congress offices.
Pratapchandra Shetty, a member of the Vidhan parishat, said that all preparations have to be made to face the upcoming elections. He said all workers need to participate vigorously in the field division, monitoring the reserved position. Former minister Vinaya Kumar Sorake should speak out and protest all kinds of irregularities in the ruling party. He said that if the booth and village committee are strong enough, action should be taken.
Former legislator Gopal Pujari said the ruling party is likely to change and we should be watching this. General Secretary Y. Sukumar welcomed and thanked the Vice President Raju Poojary for the event. For those who have worked hard in the party, General Secretary B. Shraddhanjali offered Kushal Shetty.
