There are false rumors that Pink WhatsApp has additional features. Police have shared information that it contains malicious software through which the user’s mobile can be hacked.

Police have informed that by downloading Pink WhatsApp, various information including phone numbers, photos, signature, scam messages are stolen and misused by cyber fraudsters.
Do not click on links from unknown sources. Instead download apps through official app store of Google or iOS and government approved website.
Do not share personal details, login passwords, credit or debit card details with others. Officials have advised that these lead to cyber crimes.
