On Saturday the Jami'yyathul Falah Ullal Taluk unit organised a scholarship distribution ceremony at the Jami'yyathul Falah Auditorium in Kankanady. Unit president Abdul Rahman Kodijal presided over the event, which saw a large turnout of parents and students.

Opening remarks were delivered by P.S. Moydin Kunhi, Vice President of Kunil Ilm Academy, who urged the youth to illuminate their futures through sustained study. The chief guest, Muhammad Haneef A., General Secretary of the Jami'yyathul Falah District Unit, highlighted that respect for elders, a drug‑free lifestyle and dedication to academics would prompt organisations and the government to meet their financial needs.

He also referenced the role of Honorable U.T. Khader, the departmental minister, asserting that his involvement would accelerate scholarship programmes and other educational assistance to unprecedented levels.

K.K. Abdul Nasir, the unit’s General Secretary, offered a welcome address before the president’s speech. Following the presidential address, scholarships were handed out to the selected candidates. Among the awardees, Fathima Shiza, who achieved the highest marks in the 10th standard in the Konaje zone, received special felicitation.

The program was compered by K.M.K. Manjanady. Executive committee members present included Ahmed Kunhi Master, M.H. Malar, Abdul Rahman A.K., senior members Abbas Uchila, B.S. Hasanabba, Hasan Kunhi Kodijal, Abdul Rahman Paneer, C.M. Shareef Pattori, Ameer Kodijal, Miftahussalam, Muhammad Nisharath, Mustafa Adkare and several others. A.K. Abdul Rahman concluded the ceremony with a vote of thanks.
