Udupi Records 494 New case and 2 Death on sunday

Udupi District on Sunday June 6 reported 494 new corona virus cases and 2 deaths. As per the district health bulletin So far, 6,13,248 samples have been analysed

On Sunday, 494 more cases were reported, bringing the overall number of cases to 62,285, with 4,321 of those still active.On Sunday, 494 patients were released from hospitals, bringing the total number of people who have recovered to 57,620.

Four hundred and ninety-four new patients are in home isolation, with ten in Covid-designated institutions.

A total of 417 of the 494 are asymptomatic.

The taluk of Udupi reported 123 of the 494 cases, while Kundapur had 191, Karkala had 178, and two cases came from outside the district. So far, the corona virus has claimed the lives of 344 people in the district, including two on Sunday. Both of the guys who died on Sunday were from Udupi, and one of them was 38 years old.

So far in the district, 17 instances of mucormycosis (black fungus) have been reported, including one on Sunday. Ten of these are currently is not cured

The first dosage of vaccination has been given to 2,70,224 people, and the second dosage has been given to 86,762.
