On Saturday, the Tumbe B.A. Educational Institution in Bantwala hosted the inaugural program of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy classes. The event was held at the Tumbe Pre-Graduate College auditorium in collaboration with Mangalore-based Tatvik Labs. Chairman of the Muhiuddin Educational Trust (Rt) Abdul Salam inaugurated the program, emphasizing the importance of AI in today’s education system. He stressed that students must develop the necessary skills to adapt to emerging technologies. Salam also highlighted the need for responsible technology use, information verification, and digital security.

Several dignitaries attended the program, including Nisar Ahmed Valavoor, President of the Tumbe Pre-Graduate College Guardian-Teacher Association, and Dinesh Shetty Alik, Principal of the Pre-Graduate College. Sai Vardhan, Head and Director of Tatvik Labs, and Meloon Albert Pinto, co-founder of Tatvik Labs, were also present. Muhammad Safvir, a senior student, and Dhyaini Vidya, Principal of Tumbe Kannada Medium School, participated in the event. The program was presented by Hawa Musheen, a student of the high school department, and Soumya, Headmistress of Tumbe English Medium High School, offered her thanks.
