On a recent day in Bantwal, the South Canara Photographers Association held its 27th annual general meeting at Ambedkar Bhavan, BC Road. Rajendra K, the Zonal President, presided over the meeting, which was inaugurated by Naveen Rai Panjala, the District President of the South Canara Photographers Association. Panjala commended the zone’s programs and provided details about the district’s Santhwana insurance scheme. The meeting was attended by several key figures, including District General Secretary Ajay Kumar, District Building Committee President Anand N, and District Vice President Devaraj Shetty. Ravi Kalpane, the Zonal General Secretary, presented the annual report for 2025-26, while Treasurer Krishnaraj Rao discussed the income and expenditure statement. The association awarded scholarships to the children of zonal members who achieved the highest marks in PUC and SSLC. Kishore Kumar, the Zonal Honorary President, extended a warm welcome, and Roshan Kalladka delivered the vote of thanks. Dayanand Bantwal skillfully compered the program, ensuring its smooth execution.
