BANGALORE: Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai today said the Cabinet has approved the Karnataka Health Sanjeevini Scheme for providing cashless treatment to government employees.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the State Level Sports and Cultural Competitions of the Karnataka State Government Employees – 2022 by the Karnataka State Government Employees Association today.

Senior Leader BS Yeddyurappa was instrumental in forming the 7th Pay Commission to revise the salaries of state government employees, which is similar to that of central government employees. The 7th Pay Commission was created this year to address the discrimination of salaries of government employees. He said that only when government employees are happy they can provide justice to the people of the state.
